Who (or what) is the Man-Eating Cow?
Originally, Man-Eating Cow was one of the cows in the man-eating alligator and cow pit that Chairface lowered the Tick and Angus McGuire into (FA: The Tick #7). Angus and the Tick escaped (so did Man-Eating Cow) and Man-Eating Cow later saved the Tick from an attack by members of Chairface’s gang. When the Tick decided to leave for New York (The Tick #8), he left The City in the capable hands (hooves?) of Man-Eating Cow. Man-Eating Cow made an appearance as a villain siding with the Terror in The Tick vs. Arthur’s Bank Account. She also has a self-titled ongoing comic series. 2.5 Who is American Maid? American Maid is a high-heel-shoe-flinging hero with fighting and acrobatic expertise who can sometimes be found fighting alongside the Tick. American Maid has to date only appeared in the cartoon.
