Who or What is Keep East Point Beautiful?
In July 1977, the organization Keep East Point Beautiful (KEPB), formerly known as East Point Clean Community System, Inc was officially created by City Council. Keep East Point Beautiful is a 501 C 3 Non-profit organization. The organization was established to address the areas of litter reduction and proper waste disposal methods through education and the establishment of programs that lead to a change in the behavior of the citizens of East Point. Keep East Point Beautiful’s mission is to engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments. Keep East Point Beautiful seeks to change behaviors and improve our community through a focus on litter prevention, waste reduction and beautification. As a leader in community improvement Keep East Point Beautiful is guided by these principles: education, individual responsibility, public-private partnerships and volunteer action.
