Who needs to take an Arabic Placement test?

0

You need to take an Arabic placement test if you will be taking a non-beginner level modern standard Arabic language course, i.e. beyond ALNG 101 or the accelerated ALNG 111. The placement test is administered on-line. All students are notified of the deadline for submitting the test. For the Fall 2007 semester the deadline is July 19, 2007. Colloquial Arabic, ALNG 109 is the first level and 110 is the second level of colloquial. An oral test will be given during advising to determine your placement, if you have some spoken Arabic background.
