In Georgia if you or your vehicle have tickets for no insurance or you had a major violation such as DUI, reckless driving or you are reinstating a suspended license, then the state of Georgia may require you to obtain SR 22 insurance. If you need to obtain an SR22 the state DMV will notify you.
