Who Needs Red Dead Redemption?
Who needs a high-definition cowboy title when you can play SNES classic Wild Guns on the Virtual Console? It joins this week’s Nintendo Download line-up along with Ben 10, Beaver Defense, and the sequel to 18-year-old Game Boy title X. Wild Guns might capture the Red Dead vibe for Nintendo Wii owners this week, but DSiWare title X-Scape is the most interesting release from a historical point of view. The original game, X, was a Japanese exclusive title released on the Game Boy in 1992, featuring 3D wireframe graphics. It was the first 3D title released on a portable system in Japan. And now it has a sequel, which you can play for a meager 800 DSi points! I’m downloading it as soon as I remember where I left my DSi. Check out the rest of this week’s releases below, while I avoid pointing out that this week’s Nintendo Download post is a day late.
