Who must take the CUNY Skills Assessment tests?

0

All new students entering BMCC must take the CUNY Skills Assessment tests after they have been admitted and before registering. In order to transfer from a CUNY community college to a CUNY senior college, or to move from an Associate degree program to a Baccalaureate degree program, a student must have passed the tests. Students from outside the University who wish to transfer to a CUNY college are required to take the tests and be placed at the appropriate skills levels. The registration process at BMCC will not continue for those students (including transfer students) who failed to take all three components of the CUNY Skills Assessment Tests. Students may be exempt from the CUNY Skills Assessment Tests.
