Who must comply with RCRA Subtitle C?
Anyone or any facility that generates, transports, treats, stores or disposes of hazardous waste, and any entity that produces, burns distributes or markets any waste-derived fuels must notify EPA of the activities and comply with RCRA. • What are the penalties for noncompliance with Subtitle C? EPA may issue an order to any person who violates the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The order may impose a civil penalty of up to $27,500 per day for each violation, and may also require compliance.
