Who Misses Yves Saint Laurent?
Frankly I miss the designer Yves Saint Laurent was rather than the shadow of the man who passed away. During his glory years from the 1960’s through the 1970’s he was the one to watch as his haute couture and later his ready to wear designs were what women and men wanted in modern design. The eighties were cool as well, but by the time the nineties rolled around his work had begun to become somewhat derivative. Frankly, one of his best collections was his take on Russian costume during the early seventies. It was very boho lux with incredible embroidery and stitching. The style made women look like a million.
