WHO MIGHT NOT BENEFIT FROM COACHING?
As I said above, not everyone wants coaching, nor is “now” always the appropriate time for that person to start coaching. Some examples of people in circumstances not ready for coaching are: • Someone who’s heart is not in the coaching. Coaches cannot magically force their clients to participate in the coaching process for great results. The client has to want it on some level! • omeone who’s not ready to see and explore their greatest potential • Someone who still needs to address issues from the past with a therapist or counselor before moving ahead. (Coaching may be an excellent parallel path to therapy and/or counseling. Please talk to your therapist or counselor.) • Someone with addiction, abuse, anger or violence issues.
