Who may receive complimentary press credentials?
Complimentary press credentials are issued only to reporters, editors, freelance writers and photographers working for publications relevant to the housing industry. Freelance writers and photographers must submit a letter from the news organization they are representing on that company’s letterhead and signed by the editor. In-house newsletter reporters, bloggers, book authors, book editors and publishers do not qualify as working press. Publishers that also act in an editorial capacity for their publication must get permission from NAHB Public Affairs to qualify for complimentary press credentials. Production companies must pre-register under NAHB’s policy on filming at IBS and may not register on site at the show. Production crews and broadcast media should refer to the “Policy Regarding Production Groups and Filming at IBS”.
