Who may join CJK NACO?

0

Anyone who catalogs CJK languages may apply. Institutions are invited to join the Project on a voluntary basis. Lone librarians working with relatively small CJK collections are especially encouraged to participate. It is essential to have your institution’s support and commitment to the project. • How to join CJK NACO as an institution? It is encouraged to join CJK NACO as an institution if there is more than one individual contributing CJK headings. When the Project coordinator notifies the Coop Team that a new library/unit is being added to the funnel project, LC notifies the utility of their eligibility. Each library must request NACO authorization(s) from OCLC. No later than a month before training, the NACO CONTACT submits a request form directly to OCLC for a NACO authorization. The NACO COORDINATOR will have notified the utility that you will be doing so. Use the online OCLC Access & Authorization form. For instructions on completing this form, refer to Luanne Goodson’s letter.
