Who may join CJK NACO as a reviewer/mentor?
Experienced NACO catalogers, and those with expertise in specialized areas, e.g., classical work, legal material, music etc. may join the Project as reviewers or mentors. Please contact the Project coordinator directly. • My institution is already a NACO participant. Can I still join the CJK NACO Project? Absolutely! A NACO candidate library or a CJK unit within a library lacking a MARC 21 organization code may also apply for a separate MARC code. Open your browser to the MARC Code List for Organizations to view information on requesting a new MARC 21 code. • What are the costs involved in participating in the CJK NACO Project? There is no fee for joining the project. The inherent costs are the time and effort to make contributions for name authority records. • Are there any requirements for joining?
