Who May File Under the Fair Housing Act?
Anyone who has been harmed as a result of discrimination in a housing activity may file under one or more of the protected classes, including a person who: • is directly harmed; • is associated with someone who is directly harmed; • participated in an investigation as a witness and was harmed; • opposed an illegal housing practice and was harmed.
