Any permanent staff employee who has successfully completed the probationary period of employment is eligible to serve on Staff Council. Detailed procedures are outlined in PPM 2-33. A conscientious effort is made to maintain an even distribution of staff employees from all vice-presidential areas, with as even a representation by women/men, exempt/non-exempt, etc., as possible.
