Who manages the Family Links website?

The ICRC manages the Family Links website in cooperation with Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The individual missing persons country pages remain active for as long as they are needed. In some instances, this means several years, as in the cases of Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina and Nepal. We take other missing persons pages down sooner, especially those we have set up to help find people missing because of a natural disaster. Obviously, technology is not enough. Working closely alongside people affected by conflict, violence and disaster remains the most important aspect of our work. So the Family Links website is backed by a network of staff and volunteers around the world who help people restore contact with relatives who are missing.

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
