Who makes unusual hinges ?
I am looking for a company that could make a new hinge of an unusual shape for a cupboard. Are you able to recommend anyone? Any company that you approach will have various questions before undertaking this kind of project, such as: Is the hinge replacing one that is broken, or is it for a new cupboard you are commissioning? Is it for an antique and if so, which period? Will the hinge need to be colour-matched to others? And, most importantly, does it need to be cast in brass, forged in iron or fabricated in steel?
