Who makes the OEM oil filters?

Depending on the batch you get at your dealer, they will either be made by Tennex (US made), Tokyo Roki (Japanese made), or Knecht-Mahle (Austrian made). The oil filters sold by the Canadian dealerships appear to be made by Champion Labs, the company that makes the STP oil filters although there are also rumors that it is made by Allied-Signal (the company that makes Fram filters).
