Who makes the decision regarding providing hospice care?
The patient and family should feel free to discuss hospice care at any time with their physician, other healthcare professionals, clergy or friends. CITY Hospice welcomes inquiries at any time and can coordinate referral information with your physician. Although most hospices operate under the same Medicare guidelines, not all hospices are exactly alike. You have the right to talk to any hospice–and more than one hospice–when making your choice for care.
