The Ashland Recreation Department sponsors the sixth annual Best Slice Contest on Tuesday, Nov. 3, to decide once and for all which restaurant makes the best slice of cheese pizza in Ashland. There are many to choose from, but only one can be the best. Join in the tasting at 4 p.m. at the Ashland Community Center, 162 West Union St. (Rte. 135). The cost is $3 per person or $10 per family.
