Who makes the best gas scooter (preferably larger than 150cc)?
I have ridden different types and I can tell you that in general, Suzuki is pretty good. The engine and build is better than Yamaha. Yamaha has a way of cutting corners. For example they will put a 50cc brake on a 150cc scooter. Also the engine doesnt last as long. The Suzuki engine lasts the longest. The smoothest ride is the Honda. But I can’t say that they will outlast a Suzuki. Honda makes tame scooters. Their scooters won’t out perform a Suzuki. Suzuki is much faster. You could say that Honda makes a very “generic” scooter that is geared for the grandpas and grandmas. I say this because the performance is very bland. Never buy a korean scooter. They are pretty much a joke. Flashy design with inferior build quality. Italian scooters break down really easily and the muffler/chamber rusts very fast. Above the 150, I would go with the Suzuki Skywave or the Honda Forza. (don’t know where you live so the names could be different) I wouldnt get anything above a 250 unless you’re going to
