Who Makes Etched Goblets?
There are many different glass makers who produce etched goblets. Glass etching is the process of carving or blasting ornate designs into the glass. The result is a texturized image that may be abstract or may depict a particular scene. This process has been used on glass for ages, therefore you can find both antique and modern goblets that feature etching. Sometimes etched goblet pieces will have color to them, other times they will be crystal clear with white etching as their only adornment. One beautiful antique example is the Cambridge Blossom Time goblets, which feature gold trim on the rim and base. Because these particular goblets are rare when found intact, they can cost quite a bit.
