Who made soccer and why?
Soccer evolved over a number of years, and, as such, was not invented by one person. It was developed like so many other sports because many saw it as an attractive place to try one’s skills and because it looked like it would be enjoyable. Kicking a ball goes back many hundreds of years in a number of cultures around the world, and it’s not hard to imagine that it began with one one person kicking a round object about with his feet just for the fun of it.
