Who lives in a community corrections facility (CCF)?
The median resident: * Is a 23-year-old male; * Was convicted in the county where the CCF is located; * Was sentenced to six years of community supervision as a result of a third-degree or state jail felony, most likely a drug or property offense; * Was placed into a CCF as a result of hearing on a motion to revoke parole; * Will stay in the facility an average of five months; * Would probably have been revoked to prison or state jail without the CCF alternative.
