Who lived in Bernwood Forest and what was life like for them?
In this unit pupils will be introduced to the wide range of different people who would have lived in the medieval forest and their differing roles / status in medieval society . They will explore how living in the forest and being subject to Forest Law would have affected them and how their position in society would influence their ideas, beliefs and attitudes to medieval life and living in Bernwood Forest.
