Who Likes Electronic Voting Machines?

But according to a nationwide survey, two groups of U.S. adults stand out for their strong support of voting electronically — Republicans and younger adults between the ages of 18 and 34. Eighty-three percent of Republicans say they are confident that their vote would be accurately recorded and counted if they voted electronically in the election. This includes 49% who are “very confident” in the accuracy of electronic voting machines, compared to only 33% of Democrats who are “very confident” and 38% of independents.
