Who learnt to swim in later life? How did you get over fear of water?

If your fear of water starts at the neck then I can help you. In other words if you are comfortable standing in water up to your chest then I can help you swim and it will take about two minutes. Within half an hour you will be swimming a breadth of the pool. I have achieved this on several occassions . . . . (however – If you have a morbid fear of water then I probably can’t help you and maybe you have rabbies!! ho ho ho) OK – first and only lesson – In any pool stand in a position where the water is up to your chest and you know that, if you want to, you can simply stand up any time you wish. Now lower yourself slowly down and as your face becomes level with the water hold your nose. Now KEEP PUSHING your head under the water and remember you can still stand up any time you want!! Don’t give up after a couple of inches – keep pushing down!! As you push your head down an amazing thing will happen. With no effort from yourself your feet will leave the floor of the pool. Congratulations
