Who leads the workshop?
We are pleased to have three gifted communicators serve as our main speakers for the EMB teaching sessions: David Wever David received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Mooresville, North Carolina. He specializes in sexuality and marriage issues from a Christian perspective. David is a professor at Western Seminary in Sacramento, California, helping to train future Christian counselors. David was licensed as a pastor prior to his counseling career and was a leader in the marital restoration and pastoral counseling ministries at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois. Jim Phillis Jim completed his Master of Divinity studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Covenant Theological Seminary. In addition to his work as EMB Program Director, Jim works full-time as a personal life coach and pastoral counselor with New Life Ministries
