Who knows what is the fastest animal in North American ?
Well, I have three answers for you, and I think they are all right. The pronghorn is the second fastest land animal in the world, it can reach speeds of 60 mph, and can maintain 45mph for several minutes. (probably the answer you wanted) The peregrine falcon which nests in North America’s tundra, and migrates as far as South America, can reach speeds of 200+ mph while diving and is considered to be the fastest animal on Earth. (maybe the answer you wanted) But, personally, I like to think of the cheetah as the fastest animal on Earth (since it runs on its own power at over 70 mph, instead of diving like the peregrine falcon), and so, i say that the fastest animal in North America would be all the cheetahs in zoos/ wildlife reserves. (probably not the answer you want, but I’m giving it to you anyway!
