Well, it sounds as if Steffie knows everything about Japan. Sure, kanji came from China, it originated from China. Japan didn’t steal it- they didn’t literally go to China and take it away. Basically, Chinese letters and all those stuff came from China to Japan, and became used there. It just ORIGINATED from China. Steffie also talks about the similarities of Chinese and Japanese words. So what? English has a lot of words which were derived from Latin words.
