Who knows something about the “Kumon” learning method?
I am familiar with its history, its tenets, and some of its success stories, but I am not trained as a Kumon educator. The basic concepts are not necessarily unique to Kumon from what I have seen. Although many aspects of the Kumon method, as I understand them, mirror most effective teaching methods, American methods of educating students with special needs are most in sync with what Kumon seems to profess.
