The goals of the revolution were varied. There were many different goals. Effective implementation of the social provisions of the 1917 Constitution of Mexico met many of the demands people were looking for but not all of them. so historian debate whether this was the real end of the revolution or whether it ended in 1917. There were socialists and communists who wanted to set up socialist govt. Then there were anarchists who wanted to end the govt completely. Constitutionalists supported only minor reforms which would have ended the autocrat rule and dictatorship. This dictatorship didd end and some reforms occurred. But many others didn’t. The Constitution of Mexico was the result of the revolution and it still exists today. So you should read it and see whether it met all the demands of the fighters who fought in the wars.
