Who judges the scholarship applications and what is the process?
Screening committees of prominent KDP members, who have expertise in the area of scholarships, review each application. The committees then decide on the top candidates per award and recommend those candidates to the KDP Educational Foundation. All scholarships are judged equally on the strength and quality of the essay, participation in chapter activities and/or the education profession, recommendation letter, and transcripts. Doctoral candidates also are judged on professional experience, academic record, and vita.
