Who issues birth certificates in Malay language?
Under the Birth and Death Registration Act, 1957, registrars of the Government of Malaysia are authorized to issue birth certificates. Birth certificates are also issued by medical centers in Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan, Selangar and other states and cities in federal territories. If you lost your Malay family register or need a new one for a newborn, then you may contact the Embassy of Malaysia for new copy.
