Who Is Wood Duck Manufacturing?
Wood Duck Manufacturing is a young company, but one with as many or more years of experience in the field of fireplace finishing than any company in the industry today. Wood Duck was formed in the summer of 2003 by former Vissan Designs plant manager Tamara Adams and local cabinetmaker and friend Wally Marchand. Year one brought the usual adversities and challenges faced by new businesses. The sudden passing of Mr. Marchand in the fall of 2003 strengthened the resolve to build Wood Duck Manufacturing into a company that Wally would have been proud of. A loyal staff and business philosophy that prioritizes customer service and product quality has enabled Wood Duck to meet these challenges and become a reliable supplier of fireplace cabinets and mantels for Eastern Ontario.
