Who is Welfare Rights training for?
Typical recipients of welfare rights training tend to fall into three groups: • local authority staff (internal to Durham County Council) • voluntary sector / charitable organisation staff operating within County Durham (external to the authority) • legal or statutory external bodies (for example solicitors, Primary Care Trusts and other NGOs) Commonly, only the last group would be charged for training, although this is not always the case.
