Universal Rewards & Trust company is a scam operation. They send a letter indicating that you have won $125,000 and include a very official looking check for $4875. The check is a “partial payment” to cover taxes. What they want is for you to wire the tax money to them. Of course, the check is fake but once you wire the money to them you cannot get it back.
