WHO IS UNDERDOG RESCUE?
The mission of Underdog Rescue is to build a kinder, more humane community through animal rescue, adoption and outreach. We help individuals and families find loving companions among pets we have rescued from abandonment, restored to health and evaluated in foster care; and we provide humane education, therapeutic and outreach services to children, senior citizens and the public. Collectively, our group has decades of experience in animal rescue, including disaster relief following Hurricane Katrina. We have personally saved the lives of hundreds of dogs and cats through our foster homes. And we are always seeking to learn more. Our leadership recently completed an intensive, week-long rescue workshop at the nation’s largest and perhaps most respected animal sanctuary, Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah.
