Who is to blame for the worlds population problem, developed or developing countries??
Both are to blame. Developing countries are adding more people, but people added in a developed country have a greater impact on the planet because of the concept of “True Cost”. Where do population related problems seem to be the most serious? In cities, because they attract people looking for jobs. As the population of the cities grows, so do the problems. What are the reasons why population is growing so rapidly? The main reason is the low status of women. Because of their low status in many cultures, they have no education, no job skills and no say about their family. In some countries, such as India, many families have children until they get a son. There are abortions for girl fetuses after gender testing by the wealthy, and infanticide for the poor. In some countries such as Nepal, there is a high infant mortality rate, so parents feel they have to have more children just in case.
