Who is theseus?
on of Aethra and the god of the sea, Poseidon, Theseus vowed to kill the Minotaur and save it’s yearly sacrifice of 14 men and women. When he had succeeded, he returned to a place called Ethiopia where a beautiful maiden, named Andromeda, had been chained to a rock in a sacrifice to Posiedon. theseus killed the haunting sea monster and took Andromeda for his bride. When they returned to Athens they found that the king had forced his mother to marry him. theseus killed the old king, regained his mother and introduced Andromeda to his mother, Aethra. And then they went along their way.
