Who is the WorkLife Champion and what do they do?

The WorkLife Champion is the individual you choose to lead the development of a WorkLife Ministry in your church. This can be a member of your church staff but usually it is a volunteer from your church. The key criteria is that this person must be the passionate advocate of of your church’s WorkLife Ministry. The Champion is the main contact point between His Church at Work and your church staff. We train, encourage, and support your WorkLife Champion. Your Champion is the responsible person who follows through and takes action on behalf of your church’s WorkLife Ministry plans and goals. Your WorkLife Champion will probably initially need to have 5-10 hours a week in the approximate 2 month period leading to the launch of your church’s WorkLife Ministry. After the launch phase the time commitment is less because the His Church at Work process is firmly in place at your church.
