Who is the voice of the Yankees in the YES network?
Has been the voice of the Yankees since the YES network was formed in 2002. He is joined many times by various ex ball players who call games with him. These ex players presently include Ken Singleton, David Cone, Bobby Murcer, John Flaherty, Al Leiter and Paul ONeill. I watch most of these broadcasted games on the YES network. Those I miss I usually listen to on WCBS radio with hosts John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman. Since the YES network formed I am able to view the majority of the Yankee games and Michael Kay and company do an OK job. Since I grew up watching the Yanks on WPIX the local NY station Phil Rizzuto, Bill White and Frank Messer will always be fondly remembered by me as the best announcers that ever called the Yankee games.
