Who is the tragic hero in shakespeares julius caesar?
Tragic hero: a person who is more noble than evil, whose fortunes go from good to bad, someone with a character flaw that leads to his downfall. Both Brutus and Caesar are tragic heros. Brutus stabs his best friend because he is falsely convinced that Caesar is going to hurt his people, and Brutus, being a person who cares very dearly for his people, would not allow Caesar to put them to harm. His loyalty to his country got him killed. As Caesar wanted so much power for Rome, that he was mistaken as some maniac who would destroy all of what he already had if he went any further. Both their intentions were well, but they both got screwed over in the end.
