Who is the Tibetan Terrier?
The Tibetan Terrier, the winning breed at Crufts 2007, beat off competition from 181 other different breeds, numbering a staggering 22,320 dogs. Tibetan Terriers are not in fact part of the Terrier group, but are part of the Utility group. The Utility group consists of an extremely varied assortment of breeds of dog, mainly of a non-sporting origin, and contains some of the oldest documented breeds of dog in the world. There are seven different groups of breed that pedigree dogs fall into in the UK.
