Who is the sickest, Serial Killers or Film Directors?
Serial killers were carrying on long before such acts were shown on the screen. They have their own ideas that they carry out. That’s not to say that a film couldn’t provide some inspiration. But, we have had murderers throughout history, haven’t we? Serial murders are not a recent occurrence. Actually, you can’t blame the film directors. The people who write these stories/screenplays come up with all of the ideas. Blame them first then the producers who found money to back the project. Actors and actresses have to agree to appear in the films, and the special effects/makeup artists do their best to make it look as real as possible. The director is in command of how all of this goes together. So, blame lies in more than one direction. I do find these films highly objectionable and have made an oath to myself that I will not subject myself to them since afterward it’s impossible to eradicate those memories.
