Who is the scientist who noticed lithium, sodium and potassium had similar properties?
I believe that Dmitri Mendeleev, also the creator of the first recognized periodic table of the elements, was the scientist who first noticed the similar properties of lithium, sodium, and potassium. He also studied the connections among other elements in order to formulate his periodic table, so Mendeleev is most likely the one to have discovered this relationship. Like another answerer said, Sir Humphry Davy could have also known this since he was the original isolator of those three elements.
