Who is the “public” that reviews protocols?

There are no restrictions on who may comment during review periods. We hold a 30-day public review and comment period during the development process for each of our protocols. We distribute the notice of public review period to the Reserve mailing list of over 15,000 recipients as well as the Climate-L and GHG Network listservs. During the public review period we also hold an in-person public workshop with either call-in or web-cast capabilities.
