Who is the principle instructor for the Saskatoon dojo, and what are his qualifications?
Shane Kartz is the principle instructor. He has been involved in a variety of arts since 1982 but has focused his efforts on those of the Bujinkan since 1994. In 1995 he was tested and received his Shodan Menkyo (1st Dan Black Belt) by Shidoshi Kevin Millis, becoming part of a very small group (at the time) of officially recognized Canadian practitioners in the Bujinkan organization. He was soon after qualified as an instructor and asked to start a northern “training group” under the direct guidance of Shidoshi Millis and the Bujinkan Millis Dojo banner. In 1999 Shane was given permission to create his own school banner and the Bujinkan Hayabusa Dojo was established.
