Mr. Richard Grainger, Directorate of Technical Airworthiness and Engineering Support (DTAES) 3-6C1, is the POC. He is actively involved as the technical representative at the 1 Canadian Air Division UAV Working Group. DTAES 3-6 is also responsible for addressing issues relating to: • request for UAV Flight Authority and UAV Flight Permit; • registering of UAVs in the DND Military Aircraft Register; and • Technical Airworthiness Authority (TAA) Airworthiness Certification review of the Sperwer UAV acquisition.
