The payment for MTM within Medicare Part D has been left up to the discretion of the Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) and Medicare Advantage (MA) Plans. It is possible that that PDP and MA Plans may elect to utilize the new MTM CPT Codes to compensate pharmacists for MTM services.
