Who is the Palladium Brass Quintet?
Michael Thompson, Trumpet, has been a member of the Omaha Symphony Trumpet Section since 1985. He has severed as 2nd trumpet in the Nebraska Chamber Orchestra and the Lincoln Symphony from 1988 until 2003 when he won the Principal Trumpet chair in the Lincoln Symphony. Mr. Thompson is also a frequent performer with the San Diego Symphony. Tom Kelly, Trumpet, received his undergraduate degree in trumpet performance at Winona State University (Winona MN.) and a Masters degree in trumpet performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to the Palladium Brass. Tom is a 2nd trumpet in the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and also performs with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, Nebraska Choral Arts Society and The Omaha Jazz Orchestra. Louis J. Stout, Horn, has worked for Chip Davis, at American Gramaphone, as Publishing Coordinator and Orchestral Assistant since 1988. He also plays Assistant Principal Horn with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Omaha Brass Ensemble.
